Get a Second Opinion

Dr. Matthys often sees patients regarding care they've received elsewhere

If you would like Dr. Matthys to review your X-rays and determine the next appropriate step in your treatment, then you will need to do the following:

1. Fill out the appropriate medical history form (located under the 'For New Patients' section).

2. Obtain your x-rays, medical records, and/or test results that have been done within the last 12 months. This requires you to sign a release of information and then contact those facilities. They may send the records directly to Dr. Matthys' office. We can assist you with this process.

3. Or ultimately, it may be that Dr. Matthys will need to see you in his clinic as a new patient. To see which location would be closest to you, visit our locations page.

It is important that you as the patient understand that it is difficult to give medical advice and an opinion without Dr. Matthys reviewing pertinent lab/x-ray and performing a physical examination. Common questions can generally be answered with a discussion over the telephone, however definitive medical advice regarding your care can not be determined by a phone consultation.
